📅 Event Highlights

🟢 Tug of War Tournament
Date: May 9, 2026 (4:00 PM onwards)

🟢 NALMA Multicultural Festival
Date: May 10, 2026 (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM)

Venue: St. John's Farmers' Market

Both the Multicultural Festival and the Tug of War Tournament are open to everyone — NALMA members, friends, relatives, members of various Indian communities, and people of all nationalities.

We encourage you to invite your friends and family, including those from other cities across Newfoundland and Labrador, to join this grand celebration.

Community celebration, networking, and lots of fun

We are also honoured to share that Lin Paddock, Minister of Immigration and Minister of Jobs, Growth and Rural Development, will attend on behalf of Premier Tony Wakeham to formally open the festival and address the gathering.

More detailed schedules and program updates will be shared soon. We kindly request everyone to plan ahead and adjust your work schedules or apply for time off in advance so you can fully participate and enjoy these events.
